Need steps to setup API Gateway with certificate based authentication

Summary:

Hi Everyone,

We are having a requirement to expose an OIC endpoint which act as a callback URL for a webhook in an external bank application to provide real time status updates of our data. Our limitation is that we send the data outbound to the app using certificate based authentication. Now, to receive status updates, we need to enable our OIC endpoint to be also authenticated via certificates in our API Gateway. We do not wanted to hard code our credentials in the header transformations in the route request policies.

Please advise.
