Oracle’s definition of public sector extends beyond (but includes) traditional government agencies and ministries. The definition also includes state-owned entities, such as those in which a government has 30% or more ownership, voting control, and/or the ability to appoint officers or directors. For example, some airlines, financial institutions, telecommunications companies, utilities, energy exploration companies, hospitals, and other businesses may qualify.
To qualify for the public sector registration rate, you must be prepared to show an employer-issued ID, or other proof of government employment, as well as a standard, government-issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license or passport) at check-in at the CloudWorld registration desk.
Public sector employees are not eligible to use a complimentary pass, group pass, or pass provided or paid for by another. For more details, read the full terms and conditions.
-

-
Discounted room rates are available for CloudWorld attendees until September 8, 2025, or until they sell out. Prices are as follows:
- Rooms at The Palazzo at The Venetian Resort start at $315 per night, plus a $35 daily resort fee.
- Rooms at The Venetian Resort start at $315 per night, plus a $35 daily resort fee.
- Rooms at Harrah’s Las Vegas start at $219 per night, plus a $27 daily resort fee.

-
You can book accommodations when you register for CloudWorld, or log into the attendee portal later to add or modify a hotel reservation. Be sure to have the login credentials for your Oracle.com account available. You must be a registered attendee of CloudWorld to book your room via the attendee portal.
For assistance, contact the CloudWorld registration and housing team, Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. PT at +1.510.925.4090 or cloudworld@regsvcoracle.com.
-
Discounted room rates will be offered based on hotel availability until September 8, 2025. After this date, room rates will be determined by the hotels.
-
Cancellations of an entire hotel reservation must be made no less than 72 hours prior to the arrival date in your confirmation email. Failure to do so will result in a penalty equal to one night’s room and tax. If you need to depart earlier than planned, update your hotel reservation with the CloudWorld registration and housing team before September 8, 2025. After this date some hotels may charge a penalty if nights are cancelled from your original booking. If you shorten your hotel stay after checking in, the hotel’s standard early departure fees may apply.
-
If you don’t arrive on your scheduled arrival date, the hotel will cancel the entire reservation and can opt not to reinstate the reservation, depending on hotel availability, even if you arrive the next day. If the hotel does reinstate the reservation, they may only be able to offer the prevailing market rate. You’ll also be charged the penalty of one night’s room and tax at the group rate, regardless of whether the hotel opts to reinstate your reservation.
